No. 46, No. 47, No. 56, No. 57, No. 66, No. 206B, No. 1455, No. 8455

This page will highlight the eight low angle block planes made by Millers Falls. These planes will have a bevel up iron bedded at 12 degrees and arranged in four groups based on common features. The first group has the No. 46 and No. 56 with a 6” sole, 1-3/8” iron, adjustable mouth, and an adjustable depth-of-cut iron. The No. 46 and No. 56 are the only two planes to use the smaller eccentric lever with the end turned up. The next group has the No. 47 and No. 57 with the same adjustments as the previous group, but with a 7” bed and an 1-5/8” iron. With this group, the larger eccentric lever has the end turned down. The 206B can’t find any friends and is listed alone. The final group has the adjustable depth-of-cut iron with a fixed mouth. The No. 66, No. 1455 and the No. 8455 have a 6” bed with a 1-3/8” iron.
