The very first plane Millers Falls actually produced was a spokeshave in 1884. The No. 1 was commonly referred to as the cigar shave due to its cylinder shape for cutting tight curves. Two years later, the multi sole No. 2 spokeshave was in production. In 1929, Millers Falls released six specialty planes; two scrub planes, two scraper planes and two router planes. A rabbet/fillister and a weather strip plane would be added a few years later. When Goodell Pratt merged in 1931, Goodell Pratt was making a pattern makers spokeshave. This spokeshave continued to be made, but was never sold under the Millers Falls name.
