No. 9775

No. 9775 Setup
The frog is redesigned to accept the new depth adjusting screw and iron seat.
The depth adjustment screw knob has a straight pattern knurling.
The iron is redesigned with three oval holes.
No trademark is present on the iron.
Polished cam lock lever cap.
Knob is a stained hardwood.

The company did not put much effort into designing the new plane. They simply took the No. 75 that was being produced between 1969 to 1971 and polished the lever cap surface and sent it off to have Teflon applied to the cheeks and sole.

The No. 9775 has a stained hardwood knob, polished cam lever cap and a depth adjusting screw. The sides and bottom have a Teflon surface.

The No. 9775 can be found with two different configurations. The earlier version on the left has 'MADE IN USA' on one line and the later version on the right has it on two lines. The quality of the base casting on the right is not as good as the one on the left.

This plane made it home with the store display card.
