No. 33
The No.33 is configured with a screw operated lever cap, and a raised circular depressed finger knob. Nether the name or number are stamped on the body so, the only way to identify the Millers Falls manufacturer is the trademark on the iron. The No. 33 has a fixed mouth and a 45 degree bevel down configuration.
The No. 33 was sold under the rebrand names for Sears and P&C.
Configuration over time
1929 to 1948 - Initial release, lever cap is painted red and sides are painted black. Shortly after the initial release, the lever cap is painted black.
1929 to 1964 - Thumb screw securing the lever cap has a size and thread count of 10-30.

1949 to 1964 - “Solid Tool Steel” trademark stamped on the iron.
1956 to 1974 - Lever cap is painted red and body is painted gray.
1964 to 1966 - Iron has an ink stamp. Later, the ink stamp moved to the cheek.
1965 - Thumb screw thread count changed to 10-32.
1966 to 1974 - No name or number on plane.

The trademark with the "Since 1868 triangle will be seen on planes until 1948. "Solid Tool Steel" trademark is seen from 1949 to 1964. An ink stamp identifies the plane from 1965 to around 1967.After 1967 no stamp is seen on the plane.

Initial release with the red lever cap on the left. The plane on the right has plant location of Millers Falls Mass on the iron.

Setup of the No. 33 mini block plane

The No. 33 was in the VLINE group with an all gray body, red lever cap and the STS iron.

In the late sixties, the company started packaging their smaller tools in a hanging carded package. You can see the model number in this picture, "33C". The need to reference a carded part with a "C" is part of the reason for changing many of the older catalog numbers that ended with a letter to end with a dash number.

For a short time in the mid-sixties, an ink stamp was applied to replace the iron stamp.
